We Knew the World in Fragments of Color is a photographic
and sculptural project by Venezuelan artist Victoria Ruiz
exploring memory, migration, identity and belonging.
Through colour, costume and constructed imagery,
Ruiz reflects on the experience of displacement and
the reconstruction of personal and cultural memory.

I was commissioned to create a bespoke lettering
treatment for the project title. The lettering was developed
through a combination of hand-drawn exploration and digital refining,
resulting in a custom typographic piece created specifically for the film.
