An animated typographic study inspired by four of the most prominent
Shinto shrines in Japan: Kitano Tenmangū, Fushimi Inari Taisha,
Kiyomizu Hachimangū and Kotohira-gū. The project explores
the geometric qualities of Japanese typography, using the structured,
block-like forms of the ideograms to inform the layout,
rhythm and movement of the composition.
