A collection of self-directed experiments investigating the poster
as a medium for translating ideas, texts, and references into
visual form. The series draws from disparate sources — including
literature, language, cultural symbolism, and everyday imagery — using
them as starting points for visual interpretation rather than fixed briefs.
Across the series, typography and image are treated as expressive
elements rather than purely informational ones. Composition, scale,
colour, texture, and distortion are explored to create different
relationships between meaning and form. The resulting posters
move between the editorial, the poetic, and the graphic,
with each piece developing its own visual vocabulary.
The project became an opportunity to work without
a predetermined outcome, using the constraints of
the poster format to experiment with visual storytelling
and develop a more personal approach to graphic design.
