Orphée is a speculative vinyl distribution brand, offering a

series of records of Baroque operas - but rejuvenating the

image of the genre away of the uptight idea to which it had

been connected, and entice newcomers to the scene.

The identity draws directly from music notation, and the

imagery for the sleeves was generated using generative

code using specific halftone-shapes based on the subject
of each musical piece. This approach to image-making
enables the continuation of the series, limited only by
the operatic repertoire of the 17th Century and shapes
that can be used as halftones.
